To upgrade an outdated kitchen and cafeteria and create a larger modern preparation, serving, and seating areas to accommodate the medical center’s 400+ staff.
Working with the kitchen operator and an equipment vendor, we designed a custom service line and seating area. A center island between the servery and seating provides microwaves, vending, and condiments to allow the cafeteria to be used 24/7 and also anchors two rolling grilles that allow the servery to be locked when not in use. Three different seating areas provide variety – from individual private seating to large groups.
