St. Mary's Cancer Treatment Center
As Project Architect, the key to designing the Cancer Center at St. Mary’s was listening to patients and staff. Through focus groups we heard patients describe their experiences undergoing chemotherapy and items that would help during treatment. The overwhelming message was patients needed a non-clinical environment they could control. Also, patients wanted amenities that transcended basic chemotherapy needs.
