HHA’s architectural services go well beyond building renovations and new construction. Our forensics investigation services include evaluating and providing solutions for roof failures, moisture issues, structural and exterior envelope concerns. We are also well versed working on projects requiring submission to the Department of Health. We submit numerous projects a year to NYS DOH for Certificate of Need (CON) review and are very successful with our submissions, receiving very few comments and requested changes. We also maintain open communication with DOH which helps resolve questions very quickly. Our Architectural services include:
- Building Forensics
- Building Renovations and New Construction: This service includes but is not limited to the preparation of RFPs, a construction documentation package including both interiors and exterior design as required, bid package preparation followed by bid review, construction administration and construction management.
- Department of Health Certificate of Need (CON): When a client requires a CON, Hyman Hayes Associates will perform a regulatory review, confirm Life Safety Code compliance (NFPA 101) and prepare all of the documentation required for its clients to successfully obtain its Certificate of Need.
- Planning and Feasibility Studies: Feasibility studies for new construction and renovations include but are not limited to space planning, Handicap accessibility review (ADA, ANSI A117.1), state building code review and analysis, state environmental quality review (SEQR) and site analysis/feasibility review.
