From day one as a founding principal of Hyman Hayes Associates, Myles sought to craft an architectural practice known for client service and retention, sustainable, flexible and efficient design, and a work environment that nurtures diversity and personal growth. Today, he has an area wide reputation on healthcare facility design — from major hospital renovations to stand-alone surgery, patient-care, and specialty facilities. Clients have benefited by his over 27 years of experience in this important market.
Dave is the managing principal of Hyman Hayes Associates with over 20 years experience in the design and management of institutional, governmental, higher education, commercial, and residential projects. As managing principal, Dave is also responsible for strategic planning, human resource management, and business development for the firm.
Maggie is an associate and licensed architect with almost a decade of design experience. Margaret has built a well-rounded knowledge base in the design, documentation and construction administration of architectural projects. As an associate and senior project manager she is involved in all phases of our projects, from programming and design to design development, construction documents and through construction phase services.
Mike has nearly three decades of experience in the design and management of institutional, governmental, higher education and commercial projects. Recognized for strong communication and project management skills, Mike produces high quality project documents and construction phase services.
Alex is a Principal with almost a decade experience specializing in technical design and detailing construction documents for a wide range of commercial, healthcare and laboratory projects. Alex is responsible for design implementation, overseeing construction document preparation, consultant coordination and construction phase services. Alex is a LEED accredited professional and oversees the firm’s LEED project efforts.
Jay has over 34 years’ experience in Healthcare, Municipal, and Commercial projects. As an award-winning architect, he manages the client’s projects with passion, expertise, creativity, and adaptability. Jay has managed some of the largest Healthcare projects in New York State: $550,000,000 Vassar Brothers Medical Center Hospital Expansion; $50 million Ellis Hospital modernization; 100,000 SF Risdon AMS World Headquarters; and 150,000 SF Albany County preservation/modernization of historic courthouse while courts remained open, just to highlight a few. As a teacher and mentor to his team members, Jay supports HHA’s mission by promoting extraordinary care in pursuit of customer service and quality of design and documentation.
