HHA Welcomes Ashley Sansom as Director of Interior Design

Hyman Hayes Associates is pleased to welcome Ashley Sansom, CID, NCIDQ, as the firm’s Director of Interior Design.

Ashley brings a broad background in interior design, marketing, and community-focused project work, with experience in historic renovation, educational environments, and award-winning design. She earned her BFA in Interior Design from Syracuse University and her MS in Marketing from Southern New Hampshire University.

Among Ashley’s notable career projects is the Saratoga Springs City Hall Renovation, completed after the historic building was struck by lightning and damaged by fire. The project focused on preserving the building’s historic character while updating it for modern use and long-term functionality. The renovation received AWPA Project of the Year and was also honored by the Saratoga Springs Preservation Foundation.

A Ballston Lake native, Ashley is especially interested in projects that have a direct impact on the communities HHA serves. In her new role, she looks forward to contributing her creativity, technical experience, and thoughtful design approach to HHA’s clients and project teams, with a growing focus on healthcare design.

Outside of work, Ashley enjoys horseback riding, cooking, spending time in Maine and the Adirondacks, and life with her husband, Andrew, and their French Bulldog, Marvin.
