Project Request:
Renovate outdated and inefficient office spaces to meet contemporary programmatic requirements in the historic D&H Railroad Building.
Project Solution:
The team worked with SUCF and SUNY Plaza facilities staff to provide renovations to upper floors of two separate gothic-revival towers in the historic Delaware and Hudson Railroad Building, the central administration building for the state university system. Both areas were last renovated in 1974. The Project proceeded through phased construction and included hazardous materials abatement, provision of high-efficiency exterior sprayfoam thermal insulation, updated HVAC, electrical, fire protection, alarm and computer systems, and enclosed and open office spaces.
