SUNY Cobleskill | Bouck Hall Lobby and Theater Renovation
Project Size: 25,000-sf
Project Location: 103 Schenectady Ave, Cobleskill, NY 12043
Project Team: SUNY Cobleskill
Completion Date: November 2018
Construction Cost: Part of a larger $5 Million project
Owner Contact: Allan Quinn, Facilities Planning Coordinator
Project Request:
To complete the design and renovation of SUNY Cobleskill’s Bouck Hall.
Project Solution:
The 402-seat theater and lobby have not changed since it was constructed in 1963. The design includes fresh finishes, new seating, and state of the art audio-visual equipment. It will also improve the accessibility for a variety of campus events, speaking engagements, and musical performances. The lobby design introduces wood paneling, LED lighting and digital displays that are controlled from the lobby information desk. A dynamic focal point created in front of the existing theater ticket booth presents a contemporary campus image.
